Every project begins with a conversation. We listen to your needs and analyze the technical and aesthetic challenges of your vision. We custom-formulate colors, test textures, and create physical prototypes. The workshop becomes your own R&D department until we pinpoint the exact formulation your space requires.

The Ceramic Body

True ceramics are born from the earth. Our extensive pressing and glazing infrastructure allows us to manufacture our ceramics with high flexibility and on demand. In this phase, we define the first major customization variables:

Color and structural strength begin at the base. We work with white body, red body, porcelain, and colored porcelain. If your project requires a specific technical standard, unique format, or unprecedented effect, we custom-formulate clay blends and ceramic effects in our lab to create your base tile from scratch.

Our pressing lines allow us to go beyond standard formats. Squares, bricks, hexagons, fish scales, diamonds, or any custom geometry: your imagination dictates the shape, not a catalog.

We adjust the thickness of the piece to meet the load-bearing, foot traffic, or lightweight requirements of your installation. We can press thin 4mm base tiles up to highly substantial 14mm pieces.

We bring three-dimensionality to clay. We prototype and test every texture beforehand using CNC milling. Once we validate the exact depth and volume with you, we manufacture custom industrial mold plates to guarantee a flawless reproduction in every single piece.

Bicottura

This is the moment when each piece takes on its true character. Onto the fired base tile, we apply glazes and other finishes before returning the ceramic to the kiln for a second firing. This separate firing cycle allows the glazes to come alive and react, creating that unique, intentional imperfection impossible to replicate in single-fired industrial production.
